Black-capped capuchins are a very adaptable monkey that lives in different types of habitats in Colombia such as lowland rainforest and gallery forest. They live in groups with several adult males and females and their offspring. Black-capped capuchins eat fruits, arthropods (including spiders, cockroach, crickets, and other insects), fruits, flowers and small vertebrates such as birds, frogs, and lizards. They live in medium-size territories overlapping other group’s territories.

Los monos maiceros es una de las especies de monos más adaptables que viven en diferentes tipos de hábitat en Colombia, como en los bosques de tierras bajas y bosques de galeria. Los monos maiceros comen frutos, artrópodos (incluyendo arañas, cucarachas, grillos y otros insectos), frutos, flores y pequeños vertebrados como pájaros, ranas y lagartijas. Viven en territorios de tamaño medio que se sobrelapan con los territorios de los grupos vecinos.
